Live and Digital Rides

The VelObserver app enables the repeated evaluation of cycling infrastructure, before and after a structural change. This impact assessment provides cities with direct feedback from the public on the structural implementation of cycling infrastructure.

The VelObserver app offers a new type of impact assessment:
– Live rides in groups of registered participants
– Digital rides for everyone

Live Mode ⇒ City Website
In live mode, registered participants are invited to meet at a defined starting point and then ride a pre-defined route together. The route is divided into several sections, with individual assessments at the end of each section. At the end of the ride, the results of the ride are available in the app and can be discussed. The most important, shared findings can be recorded in the app. The evaluations from the live mode are then displayed on a dedicated city website.
