Magic Nest Sort: Bird Puzzle

Twelve kinds of bird, all sitting on the wrong branches. Sort them out and let them fly.

Magic Nest Sort is a calm colour-sorting puzzle. Tap a branch and the bird on top lifts off. Tap another and it flies there. Get four of the same colour together on one branch and all four take off at once. A branch holds four, no more — so the whole game is deciding where to park a bird for now, and which branch to keep empty.

It starts with two or three kinds. Later, twelve colours tangle together and things that are not birds start appearing on the branches.

EGGS - you cannot tell what is inside until it reaches the top and hatches
COVERED BRANCH - clear the colour that matches the flower on the cover
BOUND BRANCH - you cannot take from here. Fill it up and it breaks free
HIDDEN BRANCH - clear the branch directly above or below to lift the cover
LOCKED CAGE - reveal a friend holding the matching key and every lock of that colour opens at once

Each one is introduced on its own level, one at a time, so you always learn exactly one new thing.

HOW TO PLAY
- Tap a branch to lift the bird on top
- Tap another branch to send it there
- Four of the same colour on one branch and they fly away together
- Empty every branch to clear the level

STUCK IS NOT THE END
Undo, shuffle, and add branch. Adding one more branch gets any jammed board moving again — there is always a way through, and you never lose progress you earned.

240 LEVELS, NO CLOCK
Levels have no timer. Sit and stare at one move for a minute, or clear three on the train and put it away. Now and then a harder board turns up, and you get a warning screen before it so you know what you are walking into.

BREAK THE CAGE
Spend the keys you collect on a cage, then you get 30 seconds. Tap the screen as fast as you can, break it open, free the friend inside — and the coins come pouring out.

Twelve areas open up as you play: Meadow Gate, Hedgerow Lane, Birchwood, Willow Creek, Reed Marsh, Orchard Hill, The Old Oak, Misty Hollow, Pine Plateau, Rocky Bluffs, Cloud Peak, and finally the Hawk's Nest.

TWELVE FRIENDS
Canary, cardinal, macaw, hummingbird, toucan, galah cockatoo, starling, kingfisher, swallow, lovebird, dove and crow. They are not just recoloured. Each one sits differently, flies differently, and has its own call.
