EduPass

EduPass is the Skills Passport app: where you store the diplomas, certificates, credentials, and badges issued by your institutions, and where you can show them to anyone who asks.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Scan the QR code provided by your institution and save the credential instantly, without typing anything.

• Verify that a credential is authentic: EduPass checks the signature against the issuer, verifies its validity, and checks if it has been revoked.

• View your credentials offline, so you can show them where there's no signal.

• Open your vault with your fingerprint instead of typing a password.

• Create your portfolio and share it with a university or employer, deciding what to include and being able to revoke access later.

HOW IT'S PROTECTED

Your credentials are stored encrypted. The key that unlocks them is derived from your password on your own phone and doesn't reach our servers: this means we can store them for you, but we can't read them. When you create your account, you receive a recovery code, because without it, neither we nor anyone else can open your vault.

OPEN STANDARDS

EduPass uses Open Badges 3.0 based on W3C Verifiable Credentials. It's not a PDF with a logo: each credential carries the cryptographic signature of the issuer, and anyone can verify it, even outside the app.
