The intent of this addon is to only see followed content on the Insta website (posts and stories). Any suggested, sponsored or algorithm proposed post is blocked. Using this in combination of an adblock is highly recommended.

Insta Suggested Blocker is a privacy-friendly Chrome extension that filters Instagram to show only content you follow. It blocks suggested posts and any promoted or sponsored content, helping you avoid algorithmic clutter. When you reach the You're all caught up state, non-followed posts are blocked.

It also disables Reels and the Explore tab on the home page and includes a snooze option for sponsored posts that lasts up to 30 days. For best results, pair it with an independent ad blocker.

This extension DOES work to block the suggested posts that appear AFTER your regular feed from people you follow. I was so tired of having to report disturbing content and still seeing more of the same garbage. It wasn't good for my mental health, so thank you for this blocker.

All Suggested should be blocked as per the description 🤞 I'm seeing a ton of suggested, sadly in between people I actually subscribe to.
