Again: Recurring Task Tracker

The recurring real-life stuff that quietly piles up: the haircut, the AC filter, the dentist, the vitamins. The chores, errands, and personal-maintenance tasks that don't fit your calendar (the date depends on when you last did it) and don't belong in a habit tracker (you don't need a streak chasing you).

THREE MODES, ONE TAP

• Loops: recurring tasks on your cadence, not a fixed date. "Haircut every 5 weeks": tap done after the haircut, and the next one schedules five weeks from that moment.

• Dailies: daily things you want to remember. Vitamins, stretch, journal. Tap = "done today", and midnight resets.

• Tallies: counters with no schedule. Meditation, push-ups, glasses of water. Tap = +1. No goals, no reminders.


BUILT FOR REAL LIFE

Real recurrence is messy. "Dental every 6 months, every 2nd one is dental + whitening." "Groceries every week, every 4th is the bigger Costco run." Per-occurrence variants, two recurrence modes (from completion or from due date), and pragmatic settings handle the parts a clean weekly schedule misses. Add a private note to any completed occurrence when the date isn't the whole story.


REMINDERS THAT FIT THE TASK

Per-item reminders for the things that need a nudge, and silence for the things that don't. A Loop reminds you when it's actually due, recomputed from your last completion, not on a rigid calendar schedule.


CALM, NOT GAMIFIED

No badges, no streak-loss notifications, no XP, no celebrations. Daily streaks show as a tiny chip, informational, never motivational machinery. Tallies have no goals or reminders, on purpose.


NO ACCOUNT, NO EMAIL, NO NAG

Again works fully offline, with no login screen. Optional sync between devices is account-less: your phone generates a random ID, and that's everything the server ever sees. Linking a second phone is a one-time QR scan. Never an email-and-password signup.


FREE FOR THE DAY-TO-DAY

Everyday use (the three modes, the home-screen widget, reminders, JSON backup) works without paying anything. The optional cross-device sync, which has real server costs, is $9.99/year or local equivalent, less than a dollar a month. No ads, no upsells, no unlock screens.


HOME-SCREEN WIDGET

Tap done from your home screen, no need to open the app. Each widget picks a mode in its configuration (Loops, Dailies, or Tallies), so you can place several side by side.


YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS

Local-first by default. JSON backup exports everything (Loops, Dailies, Tallies, completions, notes, settings, variants) as a single readable file you save wherever you like (Drive, email, your own folder).
