The course "Pygame. Introduction to Python on games," introduces the basic features of the game programming, and basic Pygame library.

The required pre-minimum for the successful completion of the course - knowledge of the structural (conditions, loops, functions) and object-oriented programming in Python. Preferably at least a superficial familiarity with the programming of applications with a graphical user interface.

This course focuses on the study of the basic functions and classes Pygame library, rather than the development of the final games. The main objectives of the course - to get acquainted with the peculiarities of game programming and learn to understand the code that uses Pygame. Subsequently, it will disassemble and understand long examples written in Python and Pygame games, which are many on the Internet.

The course does not include a full description of the library, the documentation does not duplicate. Instead, step by step, from the simple to the complex are considered the purpose and principle of operation of the main components of Pygame library in the annex to the development of various elements of the computer game.

The course consists of eleven classes, 10 of which include practical work. The first lesson, the lecture provides an overview of the development of games and Pygame.
