Vertically Listed Tabs - Manage Your Tabs Efficiently
"Vertically Listed Tabs" is a Chrome extension that allows users to manage their browser tabs vertically, enhancing visibility and organization. By attaching a customizable panel beside your browser, it displays tabs, groups, and more, making multitasking easier. Key features include right-click options for tab management, color-coded groups, and the ability to detach the panel for multi-monitor setups. Say goodbye to crowded horizontal tabs and browse more efficiently with this productivity tool!

= The Problem
Lots of horizontal tabs at the top of the browser pile up and become tiny. If they have the same favicon, or even with similar site titles, they become painful to search through quickly. This is a massive time waster for multitaskers like you!

= Our Solution
We open and attach a panel ("VLT") window to the left of your normal browser window and inside of it vertically list tabs, groups, etc. This should allow for large number of tabs to be visible at once and maintain the width of tab titles, increasing visual scanning and targeting speed for a specific tab.

I just discovered this and it blew my socks right away. Chrome is a proper nightmare to work with but I have to use it for my job, and it's got leagues better now. All my tabs are so easily recognizable, and neatly organized in groups, and the interface is sleek and clean - actually properly beautiful to look at. And being able to use the bar as its own independent sub window that can be resized and taken to a different monitor is fantastic too. I'm amazed at how much customizing it's been done. Google could take some classes from these devs to improve on their atrocious UIs.
Nice that it recognises the tab groups. However, it's lacking lots of basic functionality, and the UI is poor.
1. Why have it as a separate window to the left? A drop-down from the icon would be more useful. With the current system it's completely unusable. It always opens the tabs from the newest window, not the window you're using. And it makes the window smaller, which is just straight up jarring. Uninstalling immediately mainly because of this.
2. No search??
3. No x-button to close tabs, only full tab groups??
4. At least the tab moving seems to work properly unlike many other tab managers, but the cursor being that 4-pointed arrow is weird.
Nice extension, with compact view and customisable colours. Unfortunately it keeps opening on the left, no matter what was the latest position. It is also quite basic, no search/grouping from what I can see. Thanks for your work anyway, I hope it keeps evolving
