Cemtac Employee

CEMTAC Employee is the self-service app for people working at CEMTAC Cements.
It replaces paper registers and the HR counter for the things employees need
most often — clocking in, requesting leave, and checking what they were paid.

An account is created for you by HR. There is no public sign-up, and the app
cannot be used without one.


ATTENDANCE THAT HOLDS UP

Punch in and out from your phone at the start and end of your shift. Each
punch records where it was made and checks it against the geofence for your
site, so the record stands on its own — a shift you worked is a shift you can
prove.

• A live clock and your shift window, so you know where you stand before you
press anything
• A progress bar through the shift, and how much of it is left
• Late arrival and grace time shown honestly, the same figures payroll uses
• Punches made without signal are held on the device and sent when you are
back online, stamped with the time they actually happened — not the time
they reached the server


LEAVE, WITHOUT THE PAPERWORK

• Apply for casual, earned or sick leave in a few taps
• Your balances, always current
• Track each request through approval, and cancel one you no longer need
• A calendar of who else in your team is off


YOUR PAY, YOUR RECORD

• Monthly payslips with the full breakdown — basic, allowances, overtime,
deductions and net pay
• Payable days for the month, counting weekly offs and public holidays the
way payroll counts them
• Your employment details, bank and statutory information in one place


THE REST OF THE DAY

Gate passes, overtime claims, shift handovers, travel claims, team meetings,
substitutions and company rules — the routine requests that otherwise mean
finding the right person and the right form.


NOTICES AND REMINDERS

Company notices reach you directly. Optional reminders tell you when your
shift is about to start and when you have not clocked out. You choose which
ones you want, and the app works without any of them.


ABOUT LOCATION

The app reads your location only at the moment you tap Check in or Check out,
and only while the app is open. It never collects location in the background
and holds no permission to do so. The reading is stored with that one
attendance record to confirm the punch was made on site. It is not used to
follow your movements.

If you decline the location permission, everything else keeps working — leave,
payslips, notices — and only attendance punching is unavailable.
