Smart Soil Mapper is a research-grade mobile application developed at IIT Kharagpur for real-time soil characterisation in the field. It pairs directly with custom IoT hardware over Wi-Fi and logs geo-tagged soil data to an on-device database, giving researchers and agronomists an instant spatial picture of soil health.

🔬 Smart Cone Penetrometer Logger
Connect wirelessly to the IoT-based Cone Penetrometer to monitor soil penetration resistance in real time. As the probe is pushed into the ground, the app streams live Cone Index (force) and depth readings over a WebSocket connection, then saves each data point — along with its GPS coordinates — to a local database at the tap of a button. The Results screen plots a Depth vs Cone Index profile chart, giving you an instant mechanical-resistance profile of the soil column.
