ADAPT - KLDB

ADAPT-Application for Data Analysis in Progeny Testing Programme, is an application incepted by the Kerala Livestock Development Board Ltd and developed with the help of IIITM-K. It functions as a data collection tool in the progeny testing programme for dairy cattle, implemented by the KLD Board. Dairy farmers are enrolled in the application with their geo-location, enabling traceability. The details of their animals, at different stages, can be also captured using the app which helps to create reliable data about the cattle population in the progeny testing area. The application can also be linked to a smart weighing scale using bluetooth for recording the milk weight of the lactating animals.
