Improvements for Twitter is a Chrome extension that enhances Twitter/X with practical quality-of-life features. Save full-quality images and videos with custom filenames, copy tweets via VXTwitter or FXTwitter, and hide or rearrange tweet UI elements. All features are configurable in the extension settings.

Additional perks include thumbnail previews, a history log to prevent duplicates, saving images through the right-click menu, replacing shortened URLs with originals, and toggles to tailor the interface to your workflow. Note that some functions may vary if the Twitter UI language isn't English.

This is by far the best twitter extension out there. Not only does it have way more customization options than any other extension, but all of them also actually work perfectly smoothly, and the user interface is great as well.

This is one of the best Twitter extensions I have tried, and I've tried a LOT. The video download function works seamlessly and I just discovered today that it will show a green download button if you've previously downloaded the same video (even months later), saving you from accidentally taking up unnecessary storage space. I really appreciate small details like that! Thank you for keeping this extension up to date as well.
