The "Guidance for the Lost" application is one of the official applications supervised by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) - Communications Department. The application records the data of those reported missing, including the following:

* Personal information such as full name, age, gender, and language.
* A recent photo of the missing person, taken directly from the center or sent via the application.
* The phone number of the person reporting the missing person or their relatives for easy communication when they are found.

The application is equipped with advanced technical features, most notably the "Smart Search" feature, based on artificial intelligence technologies. This feature accurately matches images and analyzes facial features, significantly helping to expedite the process of identifying and locating missing persons in record time, even when accurate information about them is not available.

The application's role is not limited to technical aspects alone; it is part of an integrated service and humanitarian system that contributes to reassuring families and providing the safest possible environment amidst the millions of people who visit. Visitors can also use the application to report any lost person or to report them in a specific location, expanding the search area and increasing the effectiveness of coordination between field teams and the digital application.
