Reverse Image Search Firefox

Reverse Image Search

By: Brawl
Adds an option to the context menu to search with an image on Google, Bing, Yandex, TinEye, SauceNAO, IQDB or custom search engines. You can also choose more than one and they will be shown in a submenu!

Features & Capabilities

Reverse Image Search adds a context-menu option to perform reverse image lookups on Google, Bing, Yandex, TinEye, SauceNAO, IQDB or any custom engine. You can select more than one engine and they will appear in a handy submenu; an “Open All” action lets you launch every chosen engine at once. Customize tab behavior, add your own search URLs and icons, and use POST requests when required.

Privacy-focused and lightweight: the extension does not collect, transmit, or store any user data — all searches run client-side by opening the configured reverse image search engines in new tabs. Contribute translations or report issues on the project's GitHub repository. Icon credit is provided by the original creator.

User Reviews

Overall, users praise Reverse Image Search for adding a quick, multi-provider image search to the Firefox context menu and for its customization. It supports Google Lens, Yandex, Ecosia and more, and many call it useful and easy to use. However, several reviewers note recurring issues: the context menu item can disappear or require Save Options to restore, the options page is hard to locate or inaccessible, and there are occasional reliability problems with certain images or blank pages. The open-source, permission-light approach is appreciated by some.
