Image Extractor Firefox

Image Extractor

Extract all images and show in new tab

Features & Capabilities

Image Extractor is a powerful Chrome extension that enables users to extract all images from any web page and present them neatly in a new browser tab. Utilizing a sophisticated request interception technique, it captures image URLs as the browser loads the page, filtering out invalid or tiny images (less than 5 pixels) often used for tracking.

Unlike typical extractors, Image Extractor excels in challenging scenarios by detecting images embedded within HTML5 canvas elements, CSS backgrounds, and dynamically generated JavaScript images. For best results, users can force reload with SHIFT + F5 to ensure all image requests are captured freshly rather than from cache, ensuring comprehensive extraction every time.

User Reviews

Really useful tool! Seems to work well when hard refreshing pages first, which is not `shift+F5` as description says (only in chrome), but rather `ctrl+shift+F5` (`cmd` for mac). Would be cool if plug-in could do so itself. My biggest request is enabling binding of a keyboard shortcut to extract (please dev, if you see this, consider that)! I'm leaving 5 stars despite flaws, as it's a great idea, and it works when hard refreshing. It's not getting enough attention, and i appreciate the dark, warm colors, nice grid layout and the string showing resolution of each image.

Extracts some images, not all of them. Finds some SVGs, that's good.
