This is the legacy version of Status, a privacy-focused super app that combines a pseudonymous messenger with a secure Ethereum wallet. Status lets you chat privately (1:1 and groups) with end-to-end encryption while never requiring a phone number, email, or bank details. Wallet private keys are generated and stored locally so only you control your funds.

The Status wallet supports ETH, ERC-20 tokens, ERC-721 and ERC-1155 collectibles, and multichain access to Ethereum Mainnet, Base, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Use Status to send and store assets, swap tokens, interact with DeFi apps (Uniswap, Aave, Maker, Synthetix, and more), and connect with communities — all with strong privacy and pseudonymous account creation. Note: Bitcoin is not supported by the Status wallet.
