Really just starting out

The extension might have been useful, but it pops up every time I use the Italic text format shortcut while I'm typing. I can't imagine why anyone would use a standard text formatting shortcut for an app!!! I can't find out how to change it and Options in the menu is greyed out. So I'm removing the extension.
