Blear is a Chrome extension that turns your photos into stunning blurry wallpapers for Home and Lock screens. Drag the image horizontally to adjust the crop and preview the blur as you go.

The extension ships with beautiful starter photos, supports an Action Extension for quick edits from the Photos app, and is open source on GitHub. When you save a blur, you can easily set it as wallpaper.

Very quick, very easy to use. I do wish the slider started at 0% because some pictures I want just a little blurred, but for creating very colorful blended pictures it’s awesome.
