User Reviews

Reviews praise the game for its simple yet engaging mechanics, addictive play, and Roman history facts between battles, along with solid production value. However, frequent ads, intrusive monetization, and a range of bugs/UI issues dampen the experience. Players also note limited levels and want more content or updates, and a few view it as a clone with aggressive monetization. Overall, the concept is appealing, but ad-heavy practices and technical problems hinder broad appeal.
Pros
  • Simple, easy-to-learn mechanics that still offer a challenging experience
  • Fun, addictive gameplay that serves as a solid time-killer
  • Interesting historical facts and Rome-themed pop-ups between battles
  • Well-made, creative concept with evident developer effort and polish
Cons
  • Ad-heavy monetization with frequent ads and pressure to buy removal
  • Bugs and reliability issues (level progression glitches, freezes) and device compatibility problems (e.g., does not work on some iPad minis)
  • Limited content/levels with requests for more updates and variety
  • Perceived lack of originality/clone feel and cash-grab reputation due to monetization practices

I love this little game… nothing complicated or over the top… just really fun to mess around with.

This is a great game. Little pop ups of history to keep you in the Roman days of glory. My only complaint is that I need more levels!

This game is basically mushroom wars but a little less detailed in its combat. Still a great game and there are some differences that separate the two. I think the facts after every battle are pretty neat. I like it and am going to keep playing it.
