La Petite Baleen has been serving the Bay Area with Pace, Pattern, Compassion, and Fun since 1979. A family owned and operated swim school designed to teach life skills through swimming. Out of their love for children, owners John Kolbisen and Irene Madrid developed their proprietary curriculum built on child development and how children learn.

Through progress reports, phone conferences, newsletters, and knowledgeable staff, we educate and inform parents. We believe that aquatic child development extends beyond our swimming pools and into the heart of our familiesâ€™ homes.

The app and website for this swim school are completely useless. Nothing loads, no schedules are available, registration doesn’t work. No one answers the phone. We were with King’s Swim Academy for three years, their website actually works and makes scheduling things easier. People answer the phones. It’s pretty concerning that this place can’t even maintain a website so that prospective students’ families can actually use it.
