User Reviews

Overall, Firefox on iOS is valued for speed, feature richness, strong privacy, and cross-device use, with Mozilla’s nonprofit backing cited as a trust signal. However, frequent drawbacks appear: UI changes like removing the home button reduce quick navigation and feel cluttered; iOS stability issues (crashes, logouts, tabs reloading, duplicate history); feature gaps on iOS (no extensions, no ad-blocking, no offline translation); and inconsistent homepage customization (pinned sites disappearing or limited sorting).
Pros
  • Fast and feature-rich browsing experience
  • Strong privacy protections and data security
  • Cross-device compatibility across desktop, iOS, and Android
  • Backed by Mozilla, a nonprofit with a reputation for privacy
Cons
  • UI changes and home button removal hinder quick navigation
  • Stability issues on iOS: crashes, logouts, tabs reloading, duplicate history
  • Missing iOS features vs desktop: no extensions, no ad-blocking, no offline translation
  • Homepage customization inconsistencies (pinned sites disappearing / limited sorting)

Half the time can't even access the URL bar, tapping just doesn't work. Keyboard often doesn't come up. Sometimes the URL bar does appear but weirdly over the keyboard somehow.

Unlike desktop, the iPhone mobile app does not have on/off JavaScript control. No on/off cookies control either, with separate third party cookies on/off. Please fix this defect ASAP.
