do not use. yes they are cheaper than uber or lyft but service is awful. on friday, I used the RideYellow App. I got a trip code and got in Cab #6341 that was in line at LAX. the driver was kinda rude but i thought maybe he was ESL and just did not understand me. i was confused about having to pay since the app asked for my credit card i thought payment was through there. the driver just kept saying "no cash in cab" and i was like "i put my card in the app." then he finally pointed to the card reader in the car. he also seemed in a rush to get us out of the car. turns out my friend's earbud case fell out of her pocket in the cab. early saturday morning (like 3 am) we traced the earbuds using the galaxy phone app. saw they were stationary at a house. figured it was the cab driver. we could not contact the driver. we could not find a number to call except the one for rides. we used the online form to report a lost and found. never received an automated email saying they got the report. so we waited hours and did it again. then changed to say it was a problem with the driver and changed the email address to send the reply to. still nothing. Saturday night at the concert, we found a native californian who gave us a different number than online to call. it was still the number to book a ride. telephone agent said she could not contact the driver. then she told us the office was only open regular bank hours. it was a holiday weekend and we were flying out before tuesday when they opened. also on sunday we saw on the app the driver still had one earbud in the car but another was on the street in front of his house. so my friend just gave up and bought new ones.
