Calculating the tip and splitting the bill among friends has just become quick and simple. Now, you can do it either on your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Just tap the bill amount and hit calculate on your phone and you'll instantly see the tip value, how to split it among friends and the total amount to pay (tips included).

By combining different pages into our watch app we found the perfect and the fastest way to input data required to calculate the tip or split a bill. After setting the bill amount on our full screen keyboard, scroll left to access the ‘percentages’ and ‘split’ pages, where you can set the tip percentage amount and the way you want to split the bill in a beautifully designed way. The last page displays all the information you need to know about the tip, how much do each person has to pay and the final bill amount (tip included).

The ‘Leave a tip’ app is smart enough to read your devices local settings and determine the currency. Also, the tip value and the final bill amount are rounded up, while the individual tip amounts are not.
