Wander: Find your friends

Beta Wander helps you find your friends at festivals, concerts, or even just at the beach.

No internet? No problem. Use the crowd! When enough nearby users have the app, You'll be able to find your friends even without internet. This works by connecting to nearby users using Bluetooth and WiFi.

Wander enhances your phones internal GPS by using metadata from other devices on the network. This means you'll be able to find your friends even in dead zones with poor GPS, such as indoors.

You have total control over which friends can see your location. You can temporarily block or allow specific friends, or go totally off-the-gird at any moment.

You can leave your phone in your pocket and even turn off the ringer! Your friends will still be able to find you. The app uses the latest energy-efficient techniques provided by iOS to update your location in the background.

Please note: continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
