The Yoosee iOS app shows solid camera quality and reasonable multi-camera support, including cross-brand compatibility and a cloud storage option. However, users repeatedly criticize intrusive ads, a subscription-centric model with perpetual upsell and restrictive recording limits, and poor support, along with reliability issues after updates and occasional login/notification problems. Overall, monetization tactics seem to undermine user experience more than hardware quality.

Cameras are of good quality and the app generally works well across multiple cameras/brands.
Supports multiple cameras and different camera suppliers (cross-brand compatibility).
Cloud storage option via a subscription is available and can be useful for storing recordings.

Excessive ads and promotions inside the app, including long ads that disrupt urgent viewing.
The app is heavily subscription-focused with persistent upsell prompts, recurring 8-second recording limits, and inability to disable the prompts.
Poor customer support and unhelpful login/account assistance when issues occur.

If you move the camera to a location with a different Wi-Fi network, the device fails to connect and forces you to set it up from scratch, as the Wi-Fi network cannot be changed while the camera is offline. You can only switch networks if the camera is within range of both the old and new networks. Furthermore, if you forget your password or want to create a new account, the relevant buttons do not respond to touch. When attempting to create a new account, the app only allows registration via Facebook, Apple, or Line; registering with an email address is impossible because the register button does not work. This is one of the worst apps I have ever used. People should think twice before buying a Yoosee camera.
