User reviews show Winn-Dixie’s iOS app is commonly unstable and hard to use. The top recurring issues are crashes and freezing, mandatory login friction, unreliable ad/savings features, and problems with the shopping list and search functionality. Pros

Keeps track of receipts, which is very helpful.
Allows adding coupons to your card and scanning deals at checkout.
Provides in-app savings info (digital coupons, deals) that can help with budgeting.
Useful overall as a grocery app when it functions properly.

Frequent crashes and freezing; app often won’t load or closes unexpectedly.
Mandatory login or login issues; difficulty creating accounts or accessing features.
Ad loading problems and grey screens; savings/ads not reliable.
Shopping list flaws: items missing prices/sales, editing freezes, and items can disappear.

Recent reviews

I’ve used this app since the first week it came out and there have been several updates since. But this update is horrible! It’s crashing a lot and takes forever for the coupon list to appear and even though I’ve selected coupons it opens saying “0” coupons. My IOS is up to date but this app is not fluid anymore. Whoever programmed this needs to check their work!! I love my neighborhood WD (which Aldi is now closing August 3rd) TOTALLY disappointed with this bad update and Aldi moving in!

My app works fine at home but many times when I’m in the store shopping it crashes or freezes and my shopping list, coupons and rewards go blank or freezes. I have to shut of my phone and restart it to access my shopping list. Also, the new layout no longer shows you all the ads. Only the current ad populates and I don’t like the format. You can’t see all the information that is included in the paper ad. Finally, in your shopping list you create from the ad, now shows just the item with no information like price, picture, dates if it’s just a weekend sale, etc. Only the item you add to your list from a search give you the picture of the item with price and information. You can do much better!

Why do you require an account to look at your ads? You’re out of your minds. I’ll continue shopping at Publix, Walmart, Costco and Aldi. Get your act together or you’ll speed up your bankruptcy
