I have created "I was here" to easily save locations of any places of interest, nice holiday addresses, cabins, etc. So that I can find out exactly where it was later. It works like this: 

Open 'I was here' and press +. Ready.  Or if you use the widget: Tap the widget... Boom! And done.

Basic functions:

• Save your location really quick, wherever you are. Also very practical if you want to remember where your bike or car is parked.
• Save any location using the Pin drop method
• Save Point of Interests using the POI add method
• Share a saved location to your navigation app of choice.
• Share a location from Apple Maps to "I was here"
