Users praise Tastemade’s high-quality, diverse programming but repeatedly cite support, billing, and UX problems. Recurring issues include unresponsive customer service, subscription billing headaches (unauthorized charges and canceling difficulties), lack of in-app recipe access, confusing redesigns and navigation, and cross-device sign-in problems. Content quality is acknowledged; however, app usability and account handling significantly detract from the experience.

Recent reviews

Very poor customer service that randomly signs you up for a subscription. Total trash and needs to be put out of business. Stole $50 from me and won’t refund my money says I’m stuck for a year of their trash. I will be writing a review everyday until this is over in July 2026. I did not sign up as I only run subscriptions through Apple TV. These people had to steal my bank card information to forge this subscription.

I like to cook and liked the concept and signed up through a third party but didn’t find anything I liked. It was a hassle canceling after my free subscription and the customer service rep was rude and unhelpful.
