User Reviews

Users praise Ebroji's culture-focused GIF library but repeatedly report stagnation, small GIFs, instability (crashes/force closes), and a missing/weak search feature, with calls for more categories and fresh content to keep the library relevant.

Pros

Culture-focused GIF library representing Black/Brown communities.
Wide variety of GIFs and expressive options.
GIFs are easy to share in conversations.
Initially very engaging and fun to use.
Valued for representation and potential of the concept.

Cons

No updates for years; project appears abandoned.
GIFs are very small in size within messages.
Frequent crashes/force closes and overall instability.
Missing or non-user-friendly search functionality.
Content gaps: need more categories and fresher GIFs.

Update:. 3 years later and still no update? What's really going on with this app? I was super excited for this keyboard when it was first announced. Finally, I would have easier access to GIFs, stickers, and other ways to make texting more fun, in a way that represented a black perspective. Sadly, I have yet to see that realization. I really want to keep this app, but I always delete apps that I don't use. I don't just keep them installed. I rely hope that this app is updated and gets back to what it's initial appeal was. I'll check back, but for now, I have to uninstall. 🙁
