User Reviews

Divine Pearls is valued for its extensive library of duas, amals, and Quran and is easy to use, making it a go-to resource for many. However, iOS users report missing features that Android has (prayer times, calendar, qibla, azan), and several reliability issues persist: favorites not saving or disappearing, and audio playback problems across devices. Some updates also removed the iPad home tab. Overall, the content quality is strong, but iOS parity and stability across updates need improvement.
Pros
  • Extensive library of duas, amals, and Quran recitations; long-time trusted resource
  • Easy to use and navigate; user-friendly interface
  • Well-regarded and widely used, often recommended to others
Cons
  • iOS feature gaps: prayer times, calendar, qibla, azan relatively missing or unavailable on iOS compared with Android
  • Favorites function broken/disappearing after closing or updating; cannot reliably save or load favorites
  • Audio playback issues on iOS (audio not working or stopping) across devices
  • Update-related regressions such as removal of the iPad home tab and other UI changes impacting features

SalamAlaykum! Divine pearls has been my go to app for duas, amaals and Quran recitation for over more than 5 years now. It is easy to use and I also recommended someone to download it for amaal during Visitation of holy shrines of Imams in Iraq. However, I have a small request to make. In the tasbeeh counter, can you please make it buzz at 34 for Allahu Akbar and 33 for Alhamdulillah, like it already is in on 33 in case of SubhanAllah? Presently, it buzzes after (that is on 1st Alhamdulillah and 1st SubhanAllah). I hope it is doable and not a big problem for you all to adjust that. JazakAllah Wassalam!

The new update took the home tab away from the iPad. Would be great if we can bring that back
