Petroleum fraction properties right on your iPhone

PetroFrac calculates properties of refinery petroleum fractions based on the D86 distillation and API gravity. You enter the 10%, 50% and 90% D86 distillation temperatures along with the API gravity.

The program calculates:

SG, Specific gravity Watson K MW, molecular weight

Once you enter the flow temperature the program calculates:

Density at flow temperature, g/cm3 Viscosity at flow temperature, cSt Cp, Heat capacity at flow temperature, BTU/(lb Deg F) H Liquid, Enthalpy of liquid at flow temperature, BTU/Deg F H Vapor, Enthalpy of vapor at flow temperature, BTU/Deg F Heat Vap, Heat of vaporization at flow temperature, BTU/Deg F

Any values that are extrapolated beyond the ranges of the correlations are displayed in purple text.
