Nutshell Camera does for video what Instagram does for photos—puts the power of visual creativity in your hands with nothing more than your phone. Except here’s the cool part: You never actually have to shoot a video.

Simply take three snaps of anything at all; Nutshell automagically creates a video with these three images as the beginning, middle, and end of your film. (In technical terms, they’re called “keyframes,” but you won’t need to know that because Nutshell makes it all so easy.)

Finally, just add your own text and choose from our library of animated cartoons to embellish your three photos and BAM! You’ve created a fun little movie you can share via social media, email, or messaging. Now, that’s entertainment!

Watermark is intrusive and cannot be removed without paying.
Misses features: cannot import from camera roll; wants more text options, more stickers, and background music/tools.

Had to reinstall the app and lost all my stickers. Please fix. Everyone should delete this app. All emails I sent have been returned as undeliverable.

It was absolutely heartbreaking that this app no longer gets updated, because it is absolutely awesome. Simple to use- simply take three pictures. The app records video between all of them and connects them with speed up video. You can then overlay the pics with words and graphics. Everyone loves the results, and the short little pics/videos are perfect for today’s social media. It stopped working for a bit, but the other day I gave it a try and it seems to be working again. I totally love this app!
