Features & Capabilities

Slice of the 80s is a Chrome extension that brings the retro pizza-shop vibe to your browser—neon 80s visuals, arcade-inspired elements, and playful pizza-themed content that adds nostalgia to your daily browsing.

Inspired by Slice Of The 80s in Westland, Michigan (est. 2008), this unofficial homage highlights homemade dough, crust flavors, and catering vibes from the original restaurant. This extension is not affiliated with the real business.

User Reviews

Most reviews praise Slice of the 80's for excellent pizza and an easy, convenient ordering app. Users repeatedly cite fast, straightforward online ordering and consistently fresh pizza. However, recurring issues center on payments—cards being rejected, holds on charges, and refunds not processed—and difficulties with account management, such as deleting accounts or removing saved payment info. A minority mention address verification or missing menu sections, but the dominant sentiment is positive overall with some transactional friction requiring support.

Pros

The pizza is amazing and high quality.
The app is easy to use and enables fast, straightforward online ordering.
Overall reliability and consistency for orders, with many reviews noting smooth experiences and fresh pizza.

Cons

Payment processing issues: failed card payments, payments being held or disputed charges.
Account management problems: inability to delete account or remove saved payment information.
