User Reviews

User reviews largely praise Copay for being easy to use, fast for sending BTC, and offering strong user control and privacy (no personal data required and the app doesn’t hold funds). However, repeated issues center on high and opaque fees, including withdrawal and miner fees; reports of scams or phishing attempts and past security vulnerabilities; and concerns about customer support being hard to reach. Overall, it’s a convenient wallet with caveats around cost and security that vary by version and usage.
Pros
  • Easy to use and intuitive to navigate
  • Fast transfers and reliable sending
  • Strong user control and privacy (no personal data required; app doesn’t hold funds)
Cons
  • High, opaque, and sometimes excessive fees (including withdrawal/miner fees)
  • Customer support is often hard to reach or insufficient
  • Security concerns including phishing attempts and past vulnerabilities in versions

Horrible exchange. When transferring your coins the charges on this platform are 60% on the average. It is useless and I loose more coins everyday I look at the gains on my app. I don’t recommend anyone loosing their money on Copay.

I sent an amount of $1850. And was charged for miners fee of $1.58 usd , instead they took $100 from it and sent only $1710 is this normal ? When the fees were initially $1.5 this is robbery.
