Pilkington Sun Management Calculator

This calculator is a handy interactive tool for calculating the Solar, Optical and Thermal properties of our most popular glazing combinations, and will even generate 3-part CSI format custom glass specifications for each, ready to incorporate into your project specifications. The Sun Management Calculator also lists existing Project References specific to your glass product selections.

Pilkington Thermal Stress Calculator

The Pilkington Thermal Stress Calculator is designed to help you determine whether you need to heat treat or temper a wide variety of glazing combinations. It even accounts for the building’s location and shadows from overhangs, and allows combinations including other manufacturer's glass. Values are drawn for the performance data for each glass type as submitted by the manufacturer to the National Fenestration Ratings Council (NFRC).

Excellent specification tools. Easy to use with great functionality

Fast, accurate and fun to use. On my iPhone 6+ they run faster than the on-line laptop versions. Good graphics and a logical flow through the needed questions. I found the Sun Management Calculator, for Pilkington products much friendlier to use than the alternative LBNL "Window6" program. I found the Thermal Stress Calculator unique in the global range of glasses it covered.
