User Reviews

Alto’s Adventure is praised for its ad-free, relaxing experience with stunning visuals and music, plus offline play and enduring appeal. Common downsides include visibility issues with snowy rocks, repetitive/RNG-based progression, occasional stability bugs on newer devices, and mixed feelings about the value of the paid app and lack of a clear end reward.
Pros
  • Ad-free experience with no ads
  • Relaxing, calming vibe including Zen mode and soothing music
  • Beautiful graphics and immersive soundtrack
  • Offline play—great for road trips and areas without internet
  • Timeless, well-regarded classic that runs well on newer devices
Cons
  • Rocks and obstacles can be hard to see when terrain is snowy or camouflaged
  • Progression can feel repetitive and RNG-driven, which some players find frustrating
  • Occasional bugs or crashes on newer iOS/iPadOS versions and audio issues reported by users
  • Some players feel the paid price ($5) isn’t worth it or that there’s no substantial end reward after completing content

I love this game. There aren’t any ads. It makes it so much more fun. I like the idea of chasing the lamas. Also the elder chasing you is also very creative. There aren’t any adds for the game but seriously it would be worth an ad. Amazing content. No less.

Played this game when I was younger, (around 10-11) and was obsessed with it. Always played it when I got a chance. On of the best infinite runners, no extra stuff happening, simple and not chaotic like most games now, 100% worth buying.
