User Reviews

User reviews praise Booklover for its polished UI, deep customization, and strong organization tools (metadata, tags/genres) ideal for large comic and eBook collections. It’s easy to use and offers solid cloud syncing, with perceived good value for a one-time purchase. Recurrent downsides are stability issues and crashes with large libraries, plus a strong demand for folder-based organization. There are also common feature requests (EPUB support, markup tools, smoother page transitions), but overall it’s viewed as a top iOS reader option.
Pros
  • Highly customizable reading experience with lots of features.
  • Great UI/design and easy to use.
  • Strong metadata and tagging options for organizing large libraries.
  • Cloud syncing/storage support (iCloud sync and cloud access).
Cons
  • Stability issues (crashes or app not functioning) when loading large libraries.
  • Lack of folder-based organization; users want folders to manage thousands of titles.

Basically as the title says. It would be nice to start reading on the iPad and then pickup from last page read on the iPhone.

I have way to many Table top role playing PDFs. They range from adventure, to rules systems, and monster manuals. I really love that this app has a good visual library, quality global bookmarks, and a two page view. The performance is great and reading in this app is a good experience. I would love to make one feature request. In the two page view some books down count the cover in the page counts and the two page view is out of sync with the layout. Would love a way to off set the two page layout by one page. GoodReader has this feature. It’s the one thing that causes me to still use that app.
