See molecules, atoms, table
Visualise molecules in 3D instead of flat diagrams. Rotate atoms, browse the periodic table, study lessons and test yourself with chemistry quizzes.
Stop guessing what a molecule looks like from a flat diagram. See atoms, bonds and shapes clearly in 3D so chemistry makes more sense, whether you’re revising, teaching or simply curious. 3D Molecules & Atomic Chemistry helps students, teachers and learners explore molecules, atoms and the periodic table in a way that’s easy to understand.
Open the 3D Molecule Lab and rotate any model with a swipe, zoom in or out with a pinch, and double-tap to reset the view. Switch between Ball & Stick, Space-Filling, and Wireframe styles to focus on structure the way you prefer. Tap Explode to spread out bonds for an easier-to-read view, then tap again to collapse them back. Tap Info for the molecule’s name and formula, counts of atoms and bonds, category details, a straightforward explanation, and quick notes on where you might find it. Search by name or formula, then explore models such as water, carbon dioxide, methane, benzene, glucose, caffeine, aspirin and many more.
Learn chemistry from several angles in one app. Browse all 118 elements in the periodic table, filter groups like noble gases or transition metals, and tap any element to open its atomic model in the 3D Lab. Read clear lessons on atoms and elements, chemical bonds, states of matter, periodic patterns, functional groups, acids and bases, stoichiometry, and common reactions. Use the embedded Open the molecule buttons to see exact 3D models related to the lesson. Challenge yourself with quizzes that offer subtle hints without revealing answers, explanations after every question, and direct links to View this molecule in 3D.
Keep chemistry close without extra setup. The Molecule of the Day widget sits on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or StandBy view, with a quick control to open the selected molecule in the 3D Lab. You can also search for molecules and elements and open them straight into 3D. The app works fully offline for its chemistry content, requires no permissions, and the clear explanations and quiz hints remain accessible on your device whenever that feature is available.
It suits real study and teaching moments. Review functional groups during your commute, then tap View this molecule in 3D to rotate the model instantly. Open caffeine from search when you want to see its actual structure. Display benzene while teaching and rotate it live as you describe aromaticity. Study hybridisation in the lessons, tap methane and use Explode to better visualise its shape. Build a simple daily habit with the Molecule of the Day widget.
Pro offers more to explore: a larger molecule catalogue, extra lesson chapters, additional quizzes, reaction animations with play, pause and restart controls, and extra atoms in Molecule Builder to craft and save your own structures. Free users can still try one Pro molecule daily, and some locked content can be unlocked once by watching an ad. Restore Purchases option is available in Settings.
If chemistry feels abstract on paper, start seeing it clearly in 3D today.
