User Reviews

Stray Dog Simulator is widely enjoyed for its fun, adventurous gameplay and the satisfying progression of bonding with other dogs, forming a pack, and leveling up. However, players repeatedly call out frequent glitches (camera, run button, walls, and deaths), a limited roster of dog breeds, and a sense of monotony after extended play. Additional concerns include difficult combat against other dogs and limited map exploration. Many reviews also request missing features like breeding, naming, gender options, more pack slots, and broader customization.
Pros
  • Fun, adventurous, and addictive gameplay that many players enjoy.
  • Strong progression through bonding with other dogs, forming a pack, and leveling up.
  • Overall positive reception and enthusiasm from players toward the game.
Cons
  • Frequent glitches and bugs affecting gameplay (camera zoom issues, run button turning off, packmates dying, walls clipping).
  • Limited dog breeds (only 8 available) with widespread requests for more breeds.
  • Repetitive or boring gameplay over time (monotony) and a sense of limited variety in activities.
  • Combat/difficulty balance issues with aggressive dogs that attack and overpower the player.
  • Missing features and customization requests (breeding, naming, gender options, more pack slots) and restricted exploration (not able to enter buildings).

Add a forest with prey to hunt and make the dog catcher not take one of your dogs. Also: ADD PUPPIES. And if you DO have puppies already, tell us how to get them. And can you make there be more information in the information tab? LIKE HOW TO GET THE PUPPIES?!?!?! SERIOUSLY ALL I SEE IS ENEMIES LIKE DOGS AND THERE STATS AND BASIC CONTROLS SO CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL US HOW TO GET PUPPIES OR ADD PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!!!(pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.) several people have asked for puppies so please please please add them. And soooooo many people just hate on you because there game crashes but then they say, “oh yeah, and it’s my phone doing that, but I just want to blame you.” So don’t listen to them but listen to the people that are polite and respectful when asking for things. I’m sorry if you don’t think I am. Can you also make the dogs not attack you unless you eat their food or attack them. Recap: add puppies, a forest, dog catcher NOT take dogs, more information, and less aggressive dogs. Okay, tell me if that’s too much. Story: Raven was lost. Her family had been taken away and left her as an abandoned pup. She was starving. Then she saw dogs. “Oh no, they’re going to kill me!” She thought. But the dogs were friendly! They knew she needed milk, so one of the female dogs supplied it. She explained that she had lost all her pups to the dog catcher and was so sad she could barely eat or sleep for weeks. Then they saw her and she wanted to help. “ I don’t know if I can,” she said, “ I just keep thinking about my pups.” “So don’t,” Raven said, “ You couldn’t stop the dog catcher, but you could prevent him finding us by hiding me!” So she did. And she did until Raven grew up. Now she was the fiercest warrior of her pack. But, she still remembered her first family. Once, she saw her sister, Cantaloupe. She was on a leash, and saw her. She mouthed, “Hide, before the humans see you!” She obliged. Then she went back to the pack only to see them dead, a pack of bulldogs standing over them. One of them was Sawdust. She ran, her paws fast as lightning. Soon they were gone and she ducked behind a shed only to see a greyhound. He didn’t move. She said, “I’m Raven! What is your name?” He let out a breath, then said “My name is Egret. I’m so sorry if I seemed mean, I just didn’t know if you were friendly, thank goodness you are!” My pack died, can I join yours?” Raven asked, “My pack was killed, but we can make our own!” Egret said. They soon had pups. Most died or got taken, but one survived. They named him Cantaloupe. The end. PS: Raven is a greyhound. Her caretaker is a Doberman named Salsa. Raven’s family is named Carrot (mother) Glen (father) Cantaloupe (oldest) Zebra (second oldest and oldest son) Summer (second youngest daughter and made it into Raven and Egret’s pack after escaping from her abusive owner) Wasp (youngest son) The pack that took her in is Cocoa (Alpha) Dragonfly (Beta) Wolverine (Hunter, male) Potato(Hunter, female and Cocoa’s daughter) Midnight (Patrol, male) Sawdust (Patrol, female) Coconut (healer, male) Salsa (healer, female and Raven’s caretaker) and Tomato (Omega) Cocoa is a dachshund. So is Wolverine and Tomato. But Potato and Dragonfly are Jack Russels and the rest (excluding Salsa and Sawdust ) are greyhounds. ( Sawdust is a bullmastiff and Salsa is a Doberman) PPS: this is a story I made up. Raven is a Jack Russel. Most of it I made up except for the backstory. It is true she lost her family but they were Jack Russels too. But there names and ages are same as they are in PPS No.1(see: PPS No.1 for other facts about the story) Part two (also made up) below Raven was happy. Her life seemed perfect. But then the bulldogs came to kill her. The Alpha was Sawdust and she sneered. Then she charged. Raven jumped straight up and Sawdust ran into a wall. Raven spun around and bit her neck. Sawdust screamed and thrashed, then lay still. She was dead. The bulldogs were retreating but then Cantaloupe came and attacked them. Then Egret joined in and a big fight broke out. The bulldogs were dead, but Cantaloupe was dying too. He rasped out, “Find her, find my pup, and take care of her. She is at the lake, waiting. Fern, my mate, is with her, tell her, please.” He croaked the last few words. Raven and Egret ran to the lake and saw Fern, dead, and lying beside her was their grandpup, Raven took one look at her, then said, let’s call her Destiny! The end.
