Nuclides Chart - Nuclear Data

Features & Capabilities

Provided by the Nuclear Data Section of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the app gives properties of more than 4 000 nuclides and isomers.

A Chart of Nuclides, with zooming and tapping enabled, and a Periodic Table of Elements are included to allow easy selection and navigation.

Filter criteria on half-life, decay mode, radiation type and energy can be selected. Summary data are presented in a scrolling list, with a details page for each nuclide containing web links to the data sources and further information such as level and decay schema. The filtered nuclides can be visualised on the Chart of Nuclides.

Data are taken from the most recent and reliable sources, and optimal search-and-retrieve performance is achieved with an embedded database, meaning that no network connection is required.

Great app. If you are interested in physics this is the app for you! You can browse every known isotope and see half life, particle energy, etc. I have a suggestion to add isotope of the day. It would be funny and cool to see an advertised isotope every day.

I’m 14 and I was using this to study isotopes It was a little bit hard to get the hang of it and find out where all the information is but it saved me hours of research compared to Google The only thing it needs is more sorting options It would be really helpful to have Where I can sort high to low barns as I’m really interested in complete neutron capture

It’s nice to have a lightweight interactice map of nuclides on my mobile device. A very useful and great app.
