User Reviews

Users report persistent crashes, especially when accessing camera or gimbal settings, plus serious compatibility issues after iOS updates (iOS 23/26). Connection problems to drones/gimbals (Osmo Mobile 2, Phantom 3) are common, with many unable to link or control devices. A perceived lack of updates and ongoing support worsens frustration, and sign‑in issues prevent use for some. Overall, reliability and support gaps are the primary concerns.
Pros
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability (on launch, during camera/gimbal access, or while using the app) across multiple devices and updates
  • Major compatibility issues after iOS updates (notably iOS 23/26) leading to non-working drones or bricked devices
  • Unreliable or nonfunctional connections with hardware (Osmo Mobile 2, Phantom 3, etc.) and difficulty linking to drones/gimbals
  • Perceived lack of ongoing support and updates; app appears abandoned with years between updates
  • Account/login problems (inability to sign in, create accounts, or reset passwords) that block usage

It is so damn difficult to get the drone to fly using the app. I usually have to start up the props then turn on the app

I just bought a second hand phantom 3 Standard, and had to order two different chargers from Amazon but neither fit the battery. I also bought another battery which brings my total now to right at $400 and it will not connect to the DJI go app. So all of the money spent and the excitement to fly is sitting in a pile next to my bed. It will not connect with my iPhone 16 pro. I have spent hours on YouTube and the internet just to find out the app is not compatible.
