The idea of the app being a central location for city info is nice. However, it may need an update because it’s not very functional. The option for “News” opens as an error. Most other options just open Google or a web browser and direct you to sign in again. Is this app still the primary app for the city of Jacksonville?

1/5 of our population can’t read above a 5th grade level. The fact they are doing a “Fight the Blight” campaign with so many grammatical errors.. “Flight the Blight?” Which is it?? Also NO ONE knows or uses the word BLIGHT!! If you’d like to hire me to do this app better, I’d do it for free. This is not it. Please. The “what’s around me” literally just takes you to download Google Maps, and once downloaded.. just actually pulls up the Home Screen on the app… it does nothing. Like please let a local or someone super tapped into the community take on this project. This is horrible. And needs to be inclusive to all literacy types. Digital and literal.
