KNRM Helpt

KNRM Helpt is the official app from the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution (KNRM). It lets you register your vessel, file a Sail Plan, or switch to Track only mode to start trip tracking on your phone. Use built-in nautical maps to set start points, waypoints, and destinations, add emergency contacts, and create a personalised checklist before you depart.

During the trip, position reports are sent to KNRM’s server, you can end or revise trip details anytime, and real-time location can be shared with friends or SAR authorities when needed. Features include ENC data, weather and water information, offline safety content, and emergency call capability (iPhone only). The app emphasizes safety and notes that GPS connectivity may vary and should not replace your own judgment.
