I used to love using the Canary. But as of recently I feel like half the time my canary doesn’t want to load and connect and when it finally does it freezes and I can’t see anything. When it works it works amazingly but I’m starting to run into the problem where it works less and less. The camera is always charged and on the same WiFi as my phone so I don’t understand why it has troubles connecting and loading up it’s very unfortunate especially since I use this device for my kids.

Then they moved a bunch of the free features the camera was literally sold on into a monthly paid subscription. They even moved the 1 tap to police(you know a huge safety feature), among other things, into subscriptions. “I know we sold this camera based on xyz features, but we’re taking those back now.” Update: They have since taken your ability to stream live and now cut it up into 30s segments before you’re directed to their subscription page. Nearly every once included positive thing this camera was sold on is now locked behind a paywall or pushes you towards it. Not a good app anymore.
