User Reviews

Solitaere is praised for its beautiful, minimalist design and simple, relaxing gameplay that many players return to for years. It performs smoothly with strong aesthetics. However, reviewers repeatedly complain about fiddly card dragging, the absence of an undo, poor landscape/one-handed usability, and occasional bugs that disrupt wins or freeze play, along with requests for features like hints, pause/save, auto-solve, and leaderboards.
Pros
  • Beautiful, minimalistic UI/design that many reviewers describe as aesthetically pleasing.
  • Simple, elegant, relaxing gameplay that is easy to pick up and addictive.
  • Smooth performance and overall reliability with quick, responsive fixes when issues arise.
  • Strong long-term appeal; the game has remained popular for years and maintains its charm.
Cons
  • Card movement/dragging is fiddly and unpredictable across stacks.
  • Lack of undo function is heavily requested by multiple players.
  • Ergonomic issues: landscape mode support is poor and thumb reach/stockpile location makes one-handed play painful.
  • Recurring bugs and state issues: won’t detect win, games can freeze or become unwinnable.
  • Missing useful features: hints, pause/save, auto-solve, and leaderboards.

I have this game for over five years now, and I play every day. I wish the developer would go back and keep updating it, or developing new games. The interface is perfectly minimalistic and beautiful.

Moving the cards is terribly annoying. Too many of the games dead end.
