It’s been 2 weeks (maybe more) that I’ve been unable to purchase e-gift cards with points. I reached out to customer service & they said they didn’t know when it would be available. There should be more than 1 way to do this & not just via the app.

Great when transactions are successful. Broad range of merchants to get extra miles through the shopping portal, to get miles when buying e-gift cards, even better when doing BOTH at the same time. However, transactions fail OFTEN. Having a “point of sale” app that routinely fails at the point of sale is EXTREMELY frustrating. Contacts to help/customer service yield either no results, or “solutions” that don’t resolve the issue. Blaming a bank or CC issuer isn’t a resolution when a bank either didn’t reject a charge, or if a rejected charge is cleared/approve the app shifts to “Pay for [item] with Miles is Temporarily Unavailable” when you’ve designated a card (NOT miles) as the payment source.
