User Reviews

Overall, reviews praise the app for easy calorie and macro tracking, helpful reminders, barcode scanning, and a large food database. However, repeated issues include inaccurate nutrition data (often missing micronutrients and barcode-label mismatches), difficulty adding custom foods, confusing navigation and meal-entry flow, limited information beyond calories (no sugar/fiber/vitamins), and weak integration with other apps. These positives make it useful for macro-focused goals and weight management, but reliability and customization gaps reduce its appeal for users needing precise nutrition details.
Pros
  • User-friendly and easy to navigate
  • Effective calorie and macro tracking with adjustable protein/carb/fat ratios
  • Reminders to log meals
  • Barcode scanning for quick food entry
  • Large food database with a wide variety of foods
Cons
  • Nutrition data is often inaccurate or incomplete (missing micronutrients, zero values, barcode vs label mismatches)
  • Difficulties adding custom foods or items
  • Confusing navigation and meal-entry workflow (e.g., not sorting by most recently used)
  • Limited nutrition information beyond calories (no sugar tracking; no fiber/vitamins)
  • Poor integration with other apps / limited data sharing

My doctor recommended this app because i need lose 4+ pounds a week for the next month, the app won’t let me put that in because it’s supposedly unhealthy. it use to allow that option. I no longer recommend this app because it changed the one thing i actually needed for once.

Why are there half naked pics of people at the bottom of your screen. Also the app support is terrible

Overall, really great does a great job of tracking what you eat and really emphasizes getting enough protein and calories. My only wish is that it would track your sugar also. It would also be nice if they had workout videos recommended for you to do. But overall, really great app does a real good job and I’m super thankful for it.
