Features & Capabilities

Take the guesswork out of migraine management with N1-Headache. Track daily triggers, diary entries, and medications in just five minutes a day, and discover what factors may trigger, protect, or not relate to your migraine. From day one you’ll access your data and generate a Personal Analytical Report you can share with your healthcare provider to discuss tailored treatment options. Optional Factors let you customize tracking by enabling or adding your own suspected triggers for a truly personal migraine map.

Premium features expand your insights: Individual Maps, Trigger Map, Protector Map, and No Association Map help visualize what matters most. Use the Suspected Trigger Map to compare your theories with 90-day results, and review data across time with Monthly Summary, Time Period Comparison, and the Headache Calendar. My Data presents graphical and tabular views (including MIDAS and disability trends), and you can export a PDF report for clinical discussions.

User Reviews

N1-Headache offers strong migraine tracking with trigger analysis, medication logging, reminders, and long-term data benefits. However, users report major drawbacks: trigger insights require pricey premium access, the daily diary is tedious, past-data editing is restricted, bugs and performance issues are common, and the med database is incomplete. These trade-offs undermine its value for some users despite solid tracking features.
Pros
  • Comprehensive migraine tracking with trigger analysis and data-driven insights that help identify patterns.
  • User-friendly, well-designed interface and easy-to-use daily logging.
  • Supports logging medications and tracking their effects for discussion with a clinician.
  • Reminders help users stay consistent with daily entries.
  • Good for long-term data collection, enabling ongoing tracking over months/years.
Cons
  • Premium paywall hides meaningful insights and trigger maps behind a $50 upgrade.
  • Cumbersome daily logging with many screens; navigation is tedious and creates friction.
  • Inability to edit past entries or backfill beyond a couple days; 90-day limits on custom factors.
  • Frequent bugs, slow loading, and crashes, especially after updates.
  • Incomplete or outdated medication database; missing common meds and features tied to premium access.

Downloaded this to track my migraines/headaches, per my doctor’s instructions. Not only does the application not allow for other prescriptions to have the dosage adjusted, the response to typing is beyond aggravating. I can type a word and it will take an additional 15 seconds to think about adding the letters. When someone is to the point of needing to track their headaches and migraines, they are likely very short on patience. Just awful. Immediately deleted my account.

I wanted to use this to track my sons headaches which are frequent. Looks like great ideas Entering one headache requires going through a gazillion screens. I will never use it deleted.

Give users the benefit of the doubt that they are capable of remembering past a few days ago when their headaches happened, or perhaps may be tracking them on paper and later putting them in the app for documentation/mapping. Also, do away with the stupid limitations on putting in custom factors every 90 days. I tried to put one in and ran out of time, tried to go back later to finish, and it had locked me out for another 90 days. So stupid. So annoying. Why are you ruining what could potentially be a good app with arbitrary and artificial imposed restrictions on your users?
