Craft The World: Pocket Edition is a dwarf-led sandbox RTS that blends god-simulation with exploration and crafting. You guide a growing dwarven tribe, command digs, build a fortress, and defend your home in a dangerous world. This Pocket Edition includes all four worlds from the Steam version for a portable, immersive adventure.

Key features include a user-friendly crafting system for weapons, armor, and buildings; tower defense against waves of monsters; magic spells to aid dwarves; and procedurally generated islands with day/night, weather, biomes, and treasure-filled ruins. The game rewards exploration, resource gathering, and strategic planning as your dwarves expand their settlement.

User Reviews

Craft the World - Pocket Edition is adored for its deep crafting, dwarven-building vibe and Rimworld-like worker dynamics, with many players calling it among the best iPad crafting games and praising its long‑running appeal. The game’s DLCs and campaign/world content are a major draw for fans. However, multiple reviews converge on serious stability and access problems: frequent crashes and unplayable states, difficulty accessing or restoring DLC and campaigns, severe graphical glitches and unreadable UI on various devices, occasional language issues, and data loss after reinstall. Updated support is inconsistent, leaving players hopeful for fixes while continuing to love the core concept.
Pros
  • Deep crafting and dwarven world-building with a Rimworld-like worker system, widely praised as one of the best crafting experiences on iPad.
  • Long-term appeal and a loyal fanbase; players have been with the game for years and even decades.
  • Campaigns, worlds, and custom content offer rich, varied gameplay when accessible.
  • Continued DLC content adds value and players appreciate updates and new content when they work.
  • The game provides an engaging progression and exploration feel that keeps players coming back for more.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and unplayable states, including blank screens and progression blocks, across devices.
  • DLC access and purchase issues, including Heroes DLC not purchasable, World 1 inaccessible, and trouble restoring prior purchases.
  • Severe graphical glitches and artifacts (texture corruption, unreadable text, UI issues) and occasional audio problems.
  • Data loss on reinstall and inability to restore purchases, forcing re-purchases or loss of years of progress.
  • Inconsistent updates and compatibility problems on iOS, including long gaps between updates and ongoing stability concerns.

Hey guys! I dont know if youll see this or not but i have been watching and playing this game since i was a kid, even till this day i have been keep playing the game no matter how repetitive the gameplay is, while i have no complains at the game itself but the mechanics and certain things are quite making the game less interesting and not fun as a fan of this game grinding has become the most boring aspect of this game, especially in the late to endgame in forest endless mode where resources like ores and certain materials gets dug out of existence therefore the only logical way of getting it is either from large upcoming hordes like goblins or monsters or either dragons which gives you certain amount of coins, well i like the concept of you guys making the game as resourceful as you can but it just doesn’t make the game any more fun, while this is the main problem another is the game is lacking content and updates. As a mobile player i respect the content you guys include in the craft the world but seems much p2w where mostly every good things are locked behind money, well iam not complaining about the pay wall, just want at least some free contents where game feels more alive and more wanting to play,
