User Reviews

Users repeatedly complain that the app is overwhelmed by ads, making it nearly unusable. The translator outputs only text (no Wookie sounds) and often produces unreliable or nonsensical results. UI issues worsen the experience: hard navigation, no Enter key to submit, and input not staying in place. Overall, reviewers view the app as a poor, buggy, ad-heavy experience with little value beyond a cute concept.
Pros
Cons
  • Excessive, intrusive ads (including video ads) with no option to remove them, making the app practically unusable.
  • No Wookiee sound output; app only provides text translations and often fails to translate properly.
  • Poor UI/UX: hard navigation, needs to switch between keypad and the Wookie button, and lacks a workable Enter-to-submit control.
  • Translation results are unreliable or nonsensical when it does translate (e.g., gibberish).

This is the most Wonky crappy app I have ever used. It is so incredibly hard to maneuver through every person will get frustrated and want to throw their phone. If you do manage to make a wookie sound it will sound like a cheap Casio from the early 80s.

It doesn’t make wookie noises, only translates in texts.

Doesn't make a Wookiee sound and the interface won't even allow you to press enter after typing in text. Also has waaaay too many ads, despite not having many (any?) features. Would give 0/5 stars if I could.
