THE SAFELIFE APP We cut through the clutter and organize the things that matter. Whether it’s news about your neighborhood, reports of crime where your children go to school or college, or suspicious activity near your parents home, improve your personal situational awareness with SafeLife. Just landed in a new city? No problem. Staying at an unfamiliar hotel and want to know which way to go for a walk? Open SafeLife, click Nearby, and get your own situation report.

Features include:

• Geocoded News and Information: See the stories around you that have relevance to your saved locations. No need to search through an endless list of stories to see what’s near you. Receive push notifications and alerts on breaking news. Currently we are covering Maine to Virginia - more locations being added each week.

• Missing Kids: Discover if one of the nearly 3,000 active cases are near you. Awareness will help recover and bring these missing kids home. You can make a difference.

• Community Reports: According to the National Crime Victimization Survey, 46% of violent crime and 66% of property crime NEVER gets reported. Pay it forward and share everything from crime and suspicious activity to accidents and emergencies. Your identity is never disclosed on any report. THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR REPORTING TO LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. Always call 9-1-1 in case of emergency.

• Registered Sex Offenders: As we grow our database, you’ll be alerted as soon as a registered sex offender moves into one of your saved locations (home, work, school, park, etc.). Even when you’re in a new area, simply open up the app, click Nearby, and see what’s around you. IMPORTANT VERSION INFORMATION The SafeLife team is working to cover the entire United States. In the current version, we provide coverage for: Missing Kids nationwide; Maine to Virginia for geocoded news and information, and; MD, VA and DC for Registered Sex Offenders. You can use SafeLife anywhere to submit Community Reports.

We allow you to save multiple locations and receive push notifications and alerts when something happens there. We may introduce paid features in the future that will be clearly labeled as such. If we do, users will have the option to add these features or continue to use SafeLife free of charge.
